Due to weekend track work at the Tower 18 junction and other station maintenance projects, a customer alert was issued to communicate that all Loop Elevated stations would be closed for the weekend. This marked the first full Loop closure since 2012, so there was no recent example to reference. I carefully crafted the alert language and accompanying webpage content to guide customers through the construction project and ensure clear communication. I then collaborated with the CTA Media Relations department to edit a press release, which received news coverage to notify riders of the closure.
